Using Patternverse means agreeing to what is on this page. It is short because the things that actually matter here are few, and burying them in boilerplate would be a way of hiding them.
The short version.
Patternverse is a reflection tool for the gap between therapy sessions. It is not therapy, not medical care, and not an emergency service. What you write stays yours. You can take it with you or delete it at any time. Do not rely on it for a crisis.
What Patternverse is
A place to record what happened while it is still clear, and a system that notices when the same shape comes back. It describes patterns; it does not treat them.
What it is not
It is not therapy or medical care. It does not diagnose, treat, or give medical advice, and it is not a medical device. It does not replace a therapist, doctor, or any qualified professional. Decisions about your health are between you and someone qualified to make them with you.
It is not an emergency service. Nobody monitors entries in real time. If something you write suggests risk, the app will stop and show crisis lines — but that is a signpost, not a response. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line directly.
Your account
- You must be 16 or older.
- Give an address you actually control, and keep your sign-in to yourself.
- One account per person. Accounts are not shared — the patterns only mean anything if the entries came from one person.
What you write stays yours
You keep ownership of everything you put in. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you: storing your entries, sending them to the models that produce your reflection, and showing them back to you. Nothing broader, and nothing that outlives your account. See the privacy page for exactly who processes what.
Using it reasonably
Do not use Patternverse to:
- break the law, or harm or harass anyone;
- write about identifiable other people in ways they would have a right to object to;
- attack, probe or overload the service, or try to reach other people's data;
- resell it, or scrape it to build something else.
What the reflections are worth
The output is generated by language models. It can be wrong, and it is designed to say less rather than guess — a pattern is only named once the same shape has genuinely recurred, and figures are described rather than invented. Treat what it says as material for your own thinking, or to bring to your next session. Not as a finding, and not as a verdict about who you are.
Availability
This is a product under active development. Features change, and the service can be unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted access, and you should not treat Patternverse as the only copy of anything that matters to you — export in Settings exists for exactly that reason.
Cost
Patternverse is free to start. If paid plans are introduced, the price and what it covers will be clear before you are asked for anything, and nothing you already have will be taken away without notice.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from Settings; that ends these terms and removes your data. We may suspend or end an account that breaks the rules above or puts the service or other people at risk — and where it is reasonable to, we will say why first.
Liability
Patternverse is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from using it — and nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top moves, and material changes will be surfaced in the app rather than quietly published. Continuing to use Patternverse after that means accepting the new version.
